Historia

La compañía se formó en 2003 por Carl Cavers, Paul Porter, Darren Mills y James North-Hearn miembros de Gremlin.

El 17 de agosto de 2007, Sumo Digital fue adquirida por Foundation 9 Entertainment.^[4]​^[5]​^[6]​

Muchos miembros de las difuntas empresas Bizarre Creations y Black Rock Studio fueron contratados por Sumo Digital.^[7]​
