Carrera
Buchanan nació en Lima, Ohio.[1] En el año 2010 realizó su primera aparición en televisión, interpretando un papel infantil en la serie Modern Family. Tres años después apareció en Major Crimes, Grey's Anatomy y Los Goldberg. En 2016 interpretó su primer papel importante en televisión, encarnando a Leo Kirkman en la serie política Designated Survivor.[2][3] En 2018 integró el elenco principal de la serie Cobra Kai, apareciendo nuevamente en su segunda y tercera temporada, en 2019 y 2021 respectivamente.[4][5].
