Campanulidae
En nomenclatura filogenética, las campanúlidas (Campanulidae) son un grupo de eudicotiledóneas que habían sido nombradas informalmente como «euastéridas II».[3][4] La composición del clado es la siguiente: Apiales, Aquifoliales, Asterales, Bruniales, Dipsacales, Escalloniales y Paracryphiales[5][6]

Descripción
A pesar de que las campanúlidas no fueron originalmente identificadas sobre la base de evidencia morfológica, las investigaciones subsecuentes han identificado una serie de atributos que son característicos del grupo. Los mismos incluyen las hojas alternas, con márgenes serrados o dentados, las flores epíginas, con una fusión tardía de los pétalos, filamentos de los estambres libres y frutos indehiscentes.[7][8]
