Jason Segel
Jason Segel (Los Ángeles; 18 de enero de 1980) es un actor, guionista, productor y autor. Es conocido por su papel como Marshall Eriksen en la sitcom de CBS How I Met Your Mother, así como por su trabajo con el productor Judd Apatow en la serie Freaks and Geeks y Undeclared, y por las comedias críticamente y comercialmente exitosas que ha protagonizado, escrito, y producido.

Segel ha actuado en varias películas, incluyendo Knocked Up (2007), Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008), I Love You, Man (2009), Despicable Me (2010), Jeff, Who Lives at Home (2011), The Muppets (2011), The Five-Year Engagement (2012), Sex Tape (2014) y The Discovery (2017). Primeros años
Segel nació el 18 de enero de 1980 en Los Ángeles, hijo de Jillian (née Jordan) y Alvin Segel, un abogado.[1][2][3][4] Él creció en Pacific Palisades.[5] Su padre es judío, mientras que su madre es cristiana.[6] Él ha declarado que él fue criado judío,[7] así como "un pedacito de todo".[8]
Segel fue a una escuela hebrea y tuvo un Bar Mitzvah, y también asistió a la Escuela Parroquial de San Mateo, una escuela privada episcopal.[9][10][11] Tiene un hermano mayor, Adam,[1][12] y una hermana menor, Alison.[13]
Después de la escuela primaria y secundaria, Segel completó sus estudios de secundaria en Harvard-Westlake School, donde su altura de 1,93 metros (de 6 pies 4 pulgadas) lo ayudó como miembro activo del equipo de baloncesto de 1996 y 1997 del campeón estatal CIF.[14][15] Ganó un concurso de mates en la escuela secundaria[16] y fue apodado "Dr. Dunk".[17] Él era un respaldo al centro de la estrella del equipo, Jason Collins, que pasó a jugar en la NBA.[14]
