Scottish Championship

El Scottish Championship hasta la temporada 2012-13 llamada Primera División de Escocia (en inglés Scottish Football League First Division), es la segunda categoría en el sistema de liga de fútbol escocés.^[1]​

La división contiene diez equipos y cada final de temporada el equipo vencedor asciende a la Scottish Premiership, siempre que su estadio cumpla con los criterios exigidos. El último club clasificado desciende automáticamente; el penúltimo va a la final del desempate de temporada con los segundos, terceros y cuartos clubes clasificados en la Scottish League One.

Cada temporada se juega en enfrentamientos todos contra todos a cuatro vueltas.
