Morfología

• La longitud máxima se encuentra alrededor de los 20 cm.
• Son peces de bocas grandes y ojos grandes.^[1]​

Alimentación

Se alimentan de pequeños crustáceos y peces.^[1]​

Distribución geográfica

Se encuentran en el Índico y al oeste del Pacífico.^[1]​
