categoria de 12 clubes Accrington Aston Villa Blackburn Rovers Bolton Wanderers Burnley Derby County Everton Notts County Preston North End Stoke City West Bromwich Albion y Wolverhampton Wanderers conocida simplemente como The Football League Cuando la League y su rival la Football Alliance se unieron se separo la liga en dos categorias la League original se amplio con los dos mejores clubes de
