Chris Van Allsburg

Chris Van Allsburg (East Grand Rapids, Míchigan, 18 de junio de 1949) es un escritor e ilustrador estadounidense de libros infantiles. Ganó dos veces la medalla Caldecott, por Jumanji (1982) y The Polar Express (1985),^[1]​ siendo ambos libros adaptados más tarde en películas exitosas.^[2]​^[3]​ Recibió la Medalla de Honor Caldecott en 1980 por El jardín de Abdul Gasazi.^[4]​
