Biografía
Estudió en la "Universidad Dong Seoul College".
Es buen amigo de sus compañeros de "5urprise", así como del actor Park Min-woo, también es amigo de los cantantes Hwang Chansung y Sandeul, los actores Song Jae-rim y Park Joon-hyung, y la comediante Lee Guk-joo.[2]
Carrera
El 8 abril del 2020 se anunció que se había unido a la agencia "Man of Creation" (M.O.C).[3][4] Previamente fue miembro de la agencia "Fantagio", hasta el 31 de marzo del 2020, después de que decidiera no renovar su contrato con ellos.[5][6][7]
Del 2013 hasta el 31 de marzo del 2020 formó parte del grupo "5urprise" junto a Gong Myung, Yoo Il, Kang Tae-oh y Lee Tae-hwan.
Ha participado en varias sesiones fotográficas para "GQ",[8] "Elle", "Marie Claire", "BAZAAR China",[9] "CéCi",[10] "Grazia",[11] "ONE Magazine Korea",[12] "High Cut",[13] "NIX",[14] "1st Look",[15] "Oh Boy!",[16] "The Celebrity",[17] "InStyle",[18][19] "Big Issue",[20] "ALLETS", entre otros...
En mayo del 2014 se unió al reparto del programa Roommate, donde fue miembro hasta el final del programa en abril del 2015.[21]
En enero del 2015 apareció por primera vez como invitado en el exitoso programa de televisión surcoreano Running Man (también conocida como "Leonning maen") donde formó equipo junto a Lee Kwang-soo, Hong Jong-hyun, Choi Tae-joon, Nam Joo-hyuk y Seo Ha-joon.[22][23]
Ese mismo año apareció en Entertainer como Lee Sang-won, un amigo de Kyle.[24]
En 2016 se unió al elenco principal de la serie Entourage (también conocida como "Antooraji") donde dio vida a Cha Young-bin, una atractiva superestrella en ascenso que a pesar de su fama tiene delirios de grandeza artística, hasta el final de la serie ese mismo año.
Ese mismo año se unió al elenco de la miniserie Cheese in the Trap donde interpretó a Baek In-ho, un talentoso pianista que es adoptado por la familia adinerada de Yoo Jung (Park Hae-jin).
El 4 de marzo del mismo año participó en el programa Law of the Jungle en Tonga donde participó junto a Seolhyun, Chansung, Lee Hoon, Jota, Sungjong, Hong Yoon-hwa, Jeon Hye-bin y Sandeul, hasta el 29 de abril de 2016.[25][26][27]
En enero del 2018 se anunció que se había unido al elenco principal de la nueva miniserie Are You Human Too? donde dio vida a Nam-shin, el hijo de una mujer rica que luego de tener estar envuelto en un intento de asesinato que lo deja en coma, crea al robot "Namshin-III" que para que ocupe temporalmente el lugar de su hijo mientras él se recupera, del 4 de junio del mismo año hasta el final de la serie el 7 de agosto del mismo año.[28][29]
En febrero del mismo año se anunció que se había unido al elenco principal de la nueva serie basada en un webtoon Something About Us (también conocida como "Our Relationship is...s") donde interpretará al encantador estudiante Han Woo-jin.[30][31][32]
El 28 de septiembre del mismo año se unió al elenco principal de la serie The Third Charm donde dio vida a On Joon-young, un planificador meticuloso y cuidadoso que nunca se desvía de sus rutinas perfectamente programadas,[33] hasta el final de la serie el 17 de noviembre del mismo año.
A mediados del mismo mes se anunció que había sido elegido como el nuevo rostro del parque acuático "High1 Water World".[34]
El 6 de julio de 2019 se unió elenco principal de la serie Watcher donde dio vida al cálido y cariñoso Kim Young-goon, un oficial de patrulla que actúa frío y distante en su trabajo y que termina uniéndose al equipo anti-corrupción para encontrar la verdad sobre un seceso de su pasado,[35][36][37][38] hasta el final de la serie el 25 de agosto del mismo año.
El 24 de febrero del 2020 se unió al elenco principal de la serie I'll Go To You When The Weather Is Nice (también conocida como "I'll Come By When The Weather's Good"), donde interpretó a Im Eun-seob, el dueño de una pequeña librería y que es directo sobre sus sentimientos, que vive una vida simple la cual cambia cuando conoce a Hae Won (Park Min-young), hasta el final de la serie el 21 de abril del mismo año.[39][40][41][42][43]
En febrero de 2021 se anunció que estaba en pláticas para unirse al elenco principal de la serie Zero.[44]
