Louie Bellson

Luigi Paulino Alfredo Francesco Antonio Balassoni (Illinois, 6 de julio de 1924 - Los Ángeles, 14 de febrero de 2009), más conocido como Louie Bellson, fue un músico estadounidense de jazz, baterista, considerado uno de los mejores del mundo,[1]​ y reconocido como pionero en el uso de dos bombos.[2]

Perteneció durante mucho tiempo a la orquesta de Duke Ellington, y mantuvo también su propia big band después.
