Hans Kohn

Hans Kohn (Praga, 15 de septiembre de 1891^[1]​-Philadelphia,^[2]​ 16 de marzo de 1971)^[3]​ fue un historiador estadounidense, de origen centroeuropeo, destacado por sus estudios sobre el nacionalismo.^[4]​ Nacido en una familia judía,^[5]​ durante la Primera Guerra Mundial batalló en las filas del Imperio austrohúngaro^[1]​^[6]​ y fue hecho prisionero por los rusos,^[6]​ durante cinco años.^[7]​ En su juventud mantuvo posiciones fuertemente sionistas,^[8]​^[9]​ aunque terminaría rompiendo con el movimiento.^[10]​ Emigró a América en 1933^[6]​ o 1934.^[11]​
